Our API management team will work closely across our product development scrum teams, solution architects, security team and the business to build scalable, reusable, secure and loosely coupled API suites with a focus on innovation, high reliability and best practices. This team is tasked with ensuring our engineers are equipped to utilize and implement API related code using an API first mentality and that best practices and standards are defined and followed by the teams implementing it. Using our core values of curiosity, humility and striving to be the difference for our customers, we have a responsibility to mentor product team engineers to follow the design principles that we define as well as being focused on emerging technology and concepts that will allow us to scale.
