What Youll Do:
Work closely with agile team members and digital product managers in the design, development, delivery, and support of our web solutions
Serve as a role-model software developer, technically and as an agile team member
Provide support, guidance, and mentoring to team members
Promote quality, standards, and best practices within and across teams
Recommend and lead team process improvement initiatives for productivity and quality
Minimum Experience
5+ years experience developing web applications with .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C#
Experience with a web app development framework (such as .NET MVC and Web API)
Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, and experience with one or more JavaScript libraries/frameworks (such as React, Angular, Vue)
Experience developing and integrating RESTful web services
Proficiency developing apps using relational databases: SQL and stored procedures
Experience with Visual Studio/Visual Code
Experience with unit testing and integration
Experience with source code control (such as Git, GitHub)
Strong knowledge of software design patterns and coding best practices
Experience in a team environment using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Ability to lead and mentor team members
Preferred Technical Qualifications:
5+ years proficiency in C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
3+ years experience with the React JavaScript library – highly desirable
5+ years in developing and integrating REST services using C#
3+ years of experience developing with Microsofts Azure cloud service platform
5+ years of experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Experience using Git version control and the Gitflow branching model in a collaborative team environment, creating pull requests, and performing code reviews
Experience with agile software project tools (such as Azure DevOps, Jira)
Experience creating Azure Devops build and deploy pipelines
Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD)
Experience working with open-source software and libraries
Understanding of data privacy and security principles and how they apply to insurance digital systems and solutions
Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus

Ability to independently manage time and details to deliver quality code within expected timeframes

High degree of honesty, ethics, and integrity
Able to occasionally work outside of normal business hours to maintain critical systems and troubleshoot issues
